Since July 2022, Yongkil has been working with the Metropolitan Police Committee, established in July 2021. He is helping to create a safe living environment by applying Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) methods in areas with a high density of single-family homes, including the installation of emergency bells, logo spotlights and sidewalk markings. To ensure that women can get home safely, even at night, he has overseen the installation of safety devices along paths frequently used by women, and the placement of safety mirrors in the blind spots of subway stations to allay fears of criminal behavior among subway passengers.
