Xavier Scotto di Tella

Councillor for Public Security and Mobility, City of Dénia (Spain)

Xavier Scotto di Tella has been Vice-President of the Spanish Forum for Urban Security (FEPSU) since 2018 and security, equality, diversity and health advisor at Dénia City Council since 2015..

He is responsible for the implementation of various police, tourism and security, school police, family mediation and sexist violence prevention programmes, as well as for the development of programmes in the field of discriminatory violence.

With a law degree from the Public University of Alicante (Spain) in 1999 and a post-graduate diploma in procedural law in 2004, he practiced as a civil and criminal lawyer from 2000 to 2015, deputy judge for the judicial administration of the Valenciennes Community from 2011 to 2004, and expert accountant for the judicial administration from 2004 to 2015.
