Deputy Director, Inter-Actions

Virginie Giarmana is Deputy Director of Inter-Actions in Luxembourg. She began her career at Amnesty International and since then she has worked in Brussels for several years as advocacy officer for various organisations including Saferworld, (a British NGO which fights against light weapons). After working for the European Commission (General Director of Research), the European Parliament, at the University and at the Centre Hospitalier of Luxembourg in different coordination and management roles, Virginie joined Inter-Actions in 2019. She is particularly involved in monitoring and managing teams of community workers (social workers, teachers or education agents) and in particular developed and set up the project A Vos Côtés.
