Head of Strategic Planning, Riga Municipal Police - Participant of the Riga team in the IcARUS project (Latvia)

Staņislavs Šeiko is Head of Strategic Planning in the Riga Municipal Police, lecturer of the courses Sociology of Violence and Radicalisation and Understanding Animal Rights through a Sociological Lens at the University of Latvia, and guest lecturer at State Police College. At Riga Municipal Police, he is responsible for strategy planning, cooperation with other state and municipal institutions, as well as shaping municipal politics in the field of public order. A regular participant in the European Forum for Urban Security’s projects, he focuses mainly on violence prevention, deradicalisation and strengthening public safety.
