Member for Nord (France)

Roger Vicot is currently Member of Parliament for the 11th constituency of the Nord department (France). Roger Vicot was deputy mayor in charge of security and delinquency prevention in Lille from 2001 to 2012, then mayor of Lomme, departmental councillor and vice-president of the Lille European Metropolis. He was President of the French Forum for Urban Security (FFSU).

A graduate of the École supérieure de journalisme in Paris, he has worked in the fields of journalism and political communications. He is the author of several books on security, including Sécurité : vraies questions et faux débats, published in 2013, and Une sécurité républicaine contre la république sécuritaire, published in 2008.
