Marc Etcheverry is deputy mayor of Bordeaux, in charge of security, crime prevention and mediation. In office since January 2024, he aims to pursue the balanced, coherent and ambitious policy pursued for over 3 years by the city of Bordeaux on the subjects of public tranquillity and mediation. A policy that closely links prevention, mediation and repression, in complementarity and in close partnership with the National Police. A policy that is designed to be in direct proximity to the people of Bordeaux, and which deploys more mediators and more municipal police officers on the streets.
