Media entrepreneur, columnist and member of the Norwegian Broadcasting Council, Woke.no (Norway)

Luqman Wadood is a 22-year-old Norwegian entrepreneur, columnist and member of the Norwegian Broadcasting Council. In 2020, he launched a debate site called Jeune.no, which has become a popular forum for young Norwegian writers, publishing over 400 young people's opinions, many of which have ended up in major Norwegian media outlets. Jeune.no has now been transformed into a new media company called Woke.no, a debate portal linking young Norwegian writers on the one hand and Norwegian newspapers on the other. Woke.no is currently in a test phase with leading Norwegian newspapers, such as VG, and aims to become the leading destination for young debates, both for young writers and for the Norwegian media. Luqman is also an active columnist and speaker on topics such as youth debate and entrepreneurship, and is the winner of the Nordic Pioneer Prize 2022.
