Research Manager & Cluster Lead, Crisis & Security, Trilateral Research (Ireland)

Leanne has over 15 years of experience working on rule of law, human rights and ethical issues in crisis settings. Having worked for a national human rights institution, the United Nations and several universities, Leanne now leads a team at Trilateral Research working on several EC funded disaster resilience and border management projects. Leanne is the scientific coordinator for the EC funded TRANSCEND project promoting civil society engagement in security research. Her doctorate focused on the relationship between ethical pluralism and legal sovereignty, focusing on deliberative democratic forms of decision-making.
