José Luis Diego is an expert evaluator for the European Commission in various initiatives (H2020, EUROPOL, DG Justice, DG Home).

He is Police Inspector and Head of Innovation & Project Management Division in the Valencia Local Police, as well as International Lecturer, OSCE Hate Crimes Trainer and Liaison Officer.

He has managed over 30 EU projects (including 14 H2020) about issues like cybersecurity, hybrid threats, smart cities, etc.  

He holds degrees in Law and Criminology and a Master’s in Human Resources.
