Catherine De Baecque

President, Commission against sexual violence and discrimination in sport of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF)

Catherine De Baecque is President of the CNOSF's Commission against sexual violence and discrimination in sport, which supports Olympic, Paralympic and their affiliated federations, as well as multisport, school and university federations and other associate members.

She is an ambassador for the Values of the Olympics in France and an expert in Ethics, Education, Olympism - Culture and Sport.

Catherine De Baecque is the first top-level athlete in France, Europe and the world to have broken the law of silence in sport for aggravated violence during a national training camp with the French athletics team, and to have waged a historic battle alone for 20 years, which paved the way for others to do the same.

She was made a Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour by the President of the French Republic in January 2023.
