Briana Mawby is the Programme Officer for Women, Peace and Security at the Kroc Institute for Peace Justice, located in the University of San Diego’s Kroc School. She leads the Women, Peace and Security portfolio, including the Women Peace Makers programme and the Women Waging Peace network. She has worked previously as a researcher with the International Organisation and the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security and has served as a research consultant for organisations such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the Overseas Development Institute, UN Women, and the World Bank. She received her MA in conflict resolution from Georgetown University and her BA in international affairs from The George Washington University.
